Natural Henna

Henna is a dye prepared from the plant Lawsonia inermis, also known as hina, the henna tree, the mignonette tree, and the Egyptian privet, the sole species of the Lawsonia genus. The English name "henna" comes from the Arabic حِنَّاء‎ or, colloquially حنا‎, loosely pronounced as. It is mixed with natural oils, lemon and sugar to create a luxurious paste that is put into cones to create designs to adjourn your body.

This fruit has been used for body ornamentation in many areas of South America for centuries. Both our natural and jagua henna penetrate and stain the top skin layer, the color develops and darkens over several days until blue-black in jagua henna and dark red- brown in natural henna.
